Which was harder the Appalachian Trail or the Trans-Am?
Although I was totally exhausted both mentally and physically at the end of the AT, the Trans-Am was still harder because of the pressure of racing every day. On the AT I was chasing the record and Maineak, but no other world class athletes who kept pushing the pace. The racing was not only physically difficult; it required every ounce of mental toughness and endurance that I could muster. Without the Lord I would not have been able to endure.
